Centre for Gender Studies uses a contact form for interacting with website visitors. Centre for Gender Studies keeps the information provided through these form, for the scope as of your specific communication and Centre for Gender Studies’s response to it. Centre for Gender Studies also stores that information with explicit user consent (see 2nd consent box in contact forms), for historical/archiving reasons. You can request a copy, or deletion of your data, by using the contact form.

Newsletter

Centre for Gender Studies sometimes sends newsletters about new articles posted in our website. By subscribing to our newsletter, you consent that Centre for Gender Studies can retain your email address for the scope of sending future newsletters. No other personal data is retained, besides email address. Newsletter subscribers email addresses are only accessible to website administrators, never shared to any 3rd party. All newsletter members can unsubscribe anytime, using the unsubscription link in the newsletter or by visiting this webpage.

Google Analytics

Our website collects visitor data through Google Analytics code. Visitor data are sent to Google for statistical reasons. You can read more about Google collected data here & here. Visitors can decline Google Analytics tracking, either by selecting “Do Not Track” option in their browser, or by a Google addon for their browser which can be found here.

Web access logs

Centre for Gender Studies automatically collects log data and device information when you access and use its website. Collected information includes: Internet protocol (IP) addresses, date/time and url stamp. This information is accessed solely for the scope of debugging website issues. Who we share your data with

Your personal data are used for the scope defined in your specific communication only and are never shared with anyone outside Centre for Gender Studies, unless we disclose information in response to a law enforcement request.

How long we retain your data

  • For users that register or use the contact forms on our website (if any), Centre for Gender Studies stores any personal information they provide, in a user profile. Data is stored, till project scope or participation has ended.
  • Subscriber information is erased when you unsubscribe.

What rights you have over your data

If you have submitted personal data through the contact form or newsletter subscription form, you can request a copy or edit of that, anytime. You can also request to purge your data completely. This does not include data we’re required to retain by law.
