The Centre’s human resources consist of scientific coordinators and researchers on the projects that the Centre implements.

Thomais Kavvoura

Thomais Kavvoura is a PhD candidate at the Department of Social Policy of Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences. Her research interest focuses on Gender Studies and specifically the PhD Thesis is entitled “Economic violence against women: an invisible form of domestic violence”, supervised by Associate Professor Maria Stratigaki.

She has worked as a research interviewer in the Pilot Homeless Count on the road and in support structures of the Municipality of Athens (May 2018) and as an external collaborator of the National Center of Social Research (ΕΚΚΕ) in the project “Social representations, beliefs and stereotypes of domestic violence against women in Greece today” (2020-2021). Currently she works as Project Coordinator in the project “ProGender: a Digital program Hub on Gender, the Covid-19 Crisis and its Aftermath” which is funded by the EEA Grants and is implemented by the Centre for Gender Studies of the Department of Social Policy. She has participated in seminars, has presented and writes articles on gender issues.
